What’s Bakin’?
Cherry Lowery Rankin grew up in a rural community in Carrabelle, FL, a large family that consisted of eleven brothers and eight sisters. Her passion for cooking grew as a child watching her mother and grandmother cook those Sunday dinners and Holiday meals on a limited budget.
Cherry has baked all types of cakes and pies upon request from those that knew of her gifted hands and loved her prepared meals and desserts. Her most enjoyable recipes have been making yeast rolls, specialty cakes, and pies.
Cherry shares her cooking techniques throughout the Big Bend area on WCTV Channel 6 Good Morning Show (weekend edition). This spotlight has given her notoriety throughout the viewing area, where people who see her around town or at events ask her for cooking tips and recipe ideas.
Cherry Lynn’s Affordable Cakes and Pies denotes her love for people and her family history of preparing meals with limited income and is extended through her baking.
